My works are large figurative paintings--either life size or slightly smaller than life. Many explore themes of fertility (usually represented by a pear), medical intervention, disability,  and bodily function/dysfunction. The figures often represent a non-human object or phenomenon (e.g., cancer, the invention of fertilizer).
